Yeah because if there is one kind of trauma people can be traumatized for their whole life. People can be traumatized and think that their life can be over.

I don't believe you should classify any trauma as 'worse' or 'not as bad' as another as it is down to an individual's perception of trauma as to how it affects them. Two people experiencing an identical trauma may have very different reactions to it, and different ways of dealing with it. These things play a part in how much it ends up traumatising them. I think the safest way to operate is to treat someone experiencing any sort of trauma, whether it be a small or large one in your eyes, with respect and compassion.

I personally don't think so I think that they all have about the same impact but varies on the person rather than what happened.

Trauma is a different expierence for every person. What could be considered terrible for one person someone else could consider just a papercut.

No types of trauma are good in any way-that's why they are called "trauma" these incidences/experiences traumatized someone. Some people react differently to things other people were left completely debilitated by. Some people handle things differently. Because one person isn't as effected by one thing as another makes the occurrence no better or worse. Kind of like statistics. The odds of someone you meet being a serial killer are very slim. Would you think twice about a stranger advancing towards you with a knife though? Yes! Because anyone could fall into the category of people that fall victim to a serial killer. Anyone could be traumatized by that experience, anyone can brush it off and come back swinging right away.

I think some trauma affects some people differently. It all depends on their predispositions because of genetics and their lives and even illnesses (mentally or physical) and support systems. So it's not necessarily all worse, but it all depends on the person.

percieved by people surrounding us. yes. but to the person, no. if it affects them, it affects them. it must all be bad if it is causing trauma.

Trauma in any form is often an impactful thing for people. The severity of it, however, is subjective to each person. How bad a trauma is to one person, may not seem that bad to others. The important thing to remember is that trauma affects us all differently and we perceive it differently, which doesn't mean it is any worse or less worse than someone else's. We have to try and look at the trauma through the victim's eyes and understand that while it may not seem as bad to us, it might be about as bad as it can get for the victim.

Yes, some traumas are worse than others. Because some people have been hurt deeper so it takes longer for them to heal.
