sometimes i understand it's really hard to, realizing all that can go wrong, the injustice, etc. but there is also beauty and you will learn to appreciate that more, the smallest of things, that make a huge difference. my love towards nature and animals helped alleviate my depression, experience with PTSD and helped my eating disorder I suffered from a few years ago. you can also acknowledge the beauty in beautiful people. not everyone is self serving, and there are a lot of people that you will even stumble upon in life that will change it in the best ways :) see the world for the good. know the bad, and do what you can to change that. but ultimately, want to bring out and support all the good things and beauty in life and the world.

When you have big stuff going on in your life or you're dealing with difficult events it can be easy to lose track of the positive things. I start small, every day there's at least one thing I'm thankful for even if it's just that I made it through the day in one piece. Finding wonder in the world around and the actions people do that do make a difference cheers me up.
