Life is challenging and can get you down at times, but you can always 'bounce back'. It seems like you are feeling really overwhelmed right now, you must be going through a difficult time. To 'bounce back', you can build your skills to manage emotions, handle stress, and seek help. What strategies have you tried so far? Are you seeking help from anyone at the moment? Learning to cope with depression takes time, so do keep that in mind and be patient and caring to yourself too (: many people with depression (including myself) do recover and lead fulfilling lives, I am hopeful that you will too.

If you think a certain way and if you focus on one thing, then yes. I believe in the Law of Attraction, and if you think that you are going through depression, then you may experience depressing occurrences throughout your life. Unless you decide to do something to change it, you will continue to be depressed. You don't necessarily need pills or medication to stop being depressed (I'm not against taking meds for depression) but it would definitely help if you put a positive mindset and have a positive outlook on life. Try to do things differently, perhaps! Keep your head up.

Depression for some people may be lifelong, it honestly depends. Receiving treatment/medication, for some people, have not necessarily killed depression all together, but has reduced the symptoms. I think it's best to consult a doctor about what to do when it comes to putting a stop/slowing down depression, or making it so where it doesn't have a tremendous affect on your everyday lifestyle. Some people may experience depression symptoms for the rest of their life, and some may feel much better after receiving treatment for it. I think weather you deal with it for the rest of your life depends on the choice you decide to make.

No, it will get better. The stress will losen its hold on you, but you must not sit back and wait. Try to help yourself and telling someone that you are depressed will help not only you help yourself, but for them to help you too and with that help you WILL get better and things will get a bit easier, but life is hard and it won't stop being hard, but we have to push through it.
