I think the word always is dangerous here. Depression can get worse over time but it does not have to get worse over time. With all the resources now on battling and treating depression, and education even pharmacology and advancements in psychological treatment, a person has a strong chance of learning to manage and beat their depression. Nothing has to always here. The only always I would suggest is the one that always recognizes the importance of one’s mental health. Not taking that for granted even for someone not struggling with depression, is important for a healthier happier life.
