Because we feel like there's no one who supports us, or knows the real us, and we feel like no one understands us, we ended up feeling depressed. We feel more depressed and feel like things seem to get worse and worse at time because the pressure that we put to ourselves and the pressure that other put behind us. We can't never escape that, that's for sure. But we can try to reduce it with the help of our beloved one. I mean like being supported by them.
I think, the other way to reduce is that you shouldn't push yourself too hard. When you put too much pressure to yourself, you might end up break later on. And it's pretty ugly and pretty bad. And I'm sure you don't want to see yourself exploded, right? Not literally exploded, though. Like you can't control yourself. It's really awful hahah. Well I hope you're going to feel better and still be able to control yourself. You should put this in your mindset that you're able to cope it. Even though maybe you might be failed, don't ever stop trying, okay? Let's try together, to survive I mean.

It's hard to get out of depression in general, it's basically like if you're stuck in a room with a door that's locked from the outside. Sometimes, you either have to break down the door or you have to ask someone to open it for you, sometimes you really need help to get out of depression. It gets worse because of the fact that you feel like you're alone and bothersome, that you have no one to turn to and it's hard to see through that.

one reason i think depression gets worse over time is because you haven't talked to anyone about it i know it a big step to take just to say anything to anyone but can make it 10 times better and get it all out not just keep it in and suffer. (spelling and grammar is bad sorry)

I think that the longer our minds dwell on the subject that is triggering or depression the more or minds can bog us down with negativity instead of solutions

Depression makes you feel as though you're trapped, and over time it feels like as though the walls are closing in. This happens, at least in my opinion because of two reasons. Firstly, once someone knows that they are going through depression, it becomes a pseudo-addiction where thats all they can think about. This leads to them feeling further cut away from society. To combat this, a hobby is essential so that there is an escaped from the chains that trap you down. Secondly, a person going through depression fails to see that as dark as things might get, there are flickers of light everywhere waiting to be seized. To combat this, I feel that counting your blessings everyday can be a good way to go.

Things seem to get worse because, left alone, depression really does get worse over time and you could look at it like a cave: The deeper you go in, the darker it gets.
