when you are depressed you can often feel like you will never be happy, like you can't find a happy thought. so when you look back on things, you will tend to only see the sad parts because you are upset.

It can because when you're depressed everything that didn't stop you comes back to you suddenly when you're sad and wanting to know what went wrong that lead you to becoming where you are now.

Id say its because youre already depressed, so even the little tjigs are going to bother you further than they would if you weren't depressed.
