depression and sadness isn't something we can control. money can't buy happiness, and what you have can't cause happiness forever. it's just a natural thing that happens and we can't stop it sadly. we just need support and people their for us.

Please let me know more about how you feel. That might be a sign of depression and I would be glad to listen to whatever you would want to talk.

Depression is not always explainable, and it often strikes without reason. Think of it like this, you can randomly get sick, right? Like some days you wake up and you have a cold and you don't have to explain it or have a solid reason, and the same goes for sadness/depression. Feelings are odd things that don't always make sense, but they are valid all the same. I understand what you are saying because this happens to me a lot, I will be having a great day and suddenly I feel like i'm just falling apart, but that's okay. Maybe try seeking some help for these feelings?

Hello! Having friends and a good family doesn't prevent you from experiencing certain feelings. Emotions come and go and you can't really control them, and perhaps they might be influenced by some situations like doing something you aren't exactly keen on doing in order not to disappoint someone you love, and so on. In addition to that, at 16 you are still a teenager, and hormones, social anxiety, shyness, and other factors might play an important role in how you feel. Still, if these sad feelings become something recurrent in your daily life and they start affecting it, I think you might want to contact a specialist. Take care, and I hope you have an amazing day :)

You could suddenly feel sad because of hormones. At the age of 16, many things are changing because you are growing up. This could also be, however, a sign of depression. When you are depressed, you will feel sad even if you feel like there is no need to be. Also, many people feel lonely even though they have friends. This could be because they don't feel they are close enough to them. Maybe speaking to your family and friends about this would help you. Your family could even get you professional help in order to help you solve this problem.
