I feel unappreciated because things I do for people who are ungrateful, I don't get the recognition I feel I deserve, friends who make promises to meet with you somewhere and then don't bother notifying you, when you made the effort to get there.

Maybe because you don't realize how your brother will cry at your funeral. How the galaxy will yet again loose another star. You are not unappreciated. Someone sees what you do. You are appreciated. Good job, kid. You're living and alive, that's a pretty hard thing to do.
