I see your going through a bit of insomnia. That can mean a hundred things. Maybe your feeling anxious about somethjng going on. Do you think your feeling anxious? If so why? When I can’t sleep it’s because I’m scared someone will break in. One of my biggest fears. I don’t wish it upon anybody. Are you a student? Most student go through a lot of anxiety. Either having to be social, taking a test, having pressure put on you. Lots of student get in the habit of not sleeping. Maybe this is a similar situation? Hope this helped? Let me know

Stress and anxiety can have a profound impact on your internal well being in many ways. If you find yourself tired yet cant rest or relax I have discovered that exercise and meditation really help out to ease stress and bring your center of focus on the present rather than the past or worries of he future. if you get your mind stuck or hard wire it to be in a constant state of panic or stress, it may take longer exercise or meditation sessions to rewire it to a calmer state. Good luck and hope this helps those with this issue!

Adults who have trouble having enough sleep usually get merely minutes of rest instead of the full 8 hours of sleep. This lack of sleep can be caused by many problems ranging from foods (or anything you consume) to common medical conditions, e.g., alcohol and caffeine consumption, disturbed circadian rhythm, fluctuating energy levels, blue light from devices, diet high in sugar, and restless leg syndrome. There are sleep disorders like sleep apnea that may cause you to not be able to get much sleep despite your fatigue. While pills and other medications or treatments can be used to have better sleep experiences, they may not be good for your overall health or are simply overkill.
A few things you can do to help you sleep better:
1) Keep your bedroom dark and cool, between 60–67°F (15–19°C).
2) Consider leaving your phone and other devices in another room.
3) If noises disturb your slumber, try earplugs or a white noise machine.
4) Stick to calming tasks before bed, such as reading, journaling, or meditation.
If you find your mind keeps wandering around while you’re trying to rest, do practice meditation regularly in the morning and night to counteract your inability to concentrate. A good book on meditation is “With Each & Every Breath: A Guide to Meditation†by Thanissaro Bhikkhu, and is provided freely here: https://www.dhammatalks.org/ebook_index.html#eachandeverybreath
If you have tried everything but you still can’t get good results, please talk to your doctor.
