Sometimes it can be a mindset, due to a situation (past or present), and other times it is because we compare ourselves to others. We need to see ourselves as God sees us...and realize we are valuable and loved.

I sometimes do feel this way too, and it is an extremely common feeling. Today itself a member came up to me with the very same thing. But maybe why people feel this way is because they haven't found out who they are yet and how they exactly fit in with the rest of the world, but this isn't to say that we don't fit in at all. So please don't feel this way, I am sure that there are many talents and quirks about you that make you special and worth while

One thing is for sure: it is not because you are inferior, worthless and useless. If you're feeling this trio together, and all the time, it has nothing to do with who you actually are. It's a distorted thought pattern. Maybe it was set off by an event in your life. Maybe not. But one thing is clear: you feel this way because of an illusion, not your real, actual, worthwhile and useful self.

You feel this way because of multiple factors, and only you can really define what makes you feel that way. What I can say is that what can make you feel better is doing something you love, even if, though bad things, you've lost interest.

It could be low self-esteem, depression, a situational reaction (such as someone telling you that you're inferior and worthless all the time), a reaction to some trauma, or any number of things. It's a horrible feeling to have no matter what the reason. Even if you've made terrible mistakes or choices in your life, you aren't worthless and aren't any less deserving of feeling like you are just as viable as the next human being. It's hard to treat yourself with the same acceptance and care that you treat others, but with time and effort, you can learn to do that. We often hold ourselves to much higher standards than we do for anyone else.

From experience, I feel inferior and worthless when I compare myself to others. This can lead me to some very strong negative emotions which I like to combat by writing down a list of all the positive things that make me ME. This helps me reflect on myself and gives myself a sense of worth
