This can be PMS, and it is when you have mood swings before your period
If this is relly severe, you could have PMDS which is a disorder and you can be given hormoone control pills to help
try talking to your doctor about it

Most girls and women experience mood swings. It is completely normal. Some get grumpy, while others could have a sad feeling.

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a condition in which a woman has severe depression symptoms, irritability, and tension before menstruation. The symptoms of PMDD are more severe than those seen with premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
PMS refers to a wide range of physical or emotional symptoms that typically occur about 5 to 11 days before a woman starts her monthly menstrual cycle. The symptoms usually stop when, or shortly after, her period begins.

I'm not sure why you feel depressed after your period. Maybe something that happened before on your period could have triggered this reoccurring state of depression. Consulting a doctor or professional therapist would be better.

Period depression is most likely a cause of imbalanced hormones. This happens to me often because all of the body is changing, and sometimes things will be imbalanced. It is not your fault, but a hormone imbalance.
