I know the feeling its horrible maybe there is a reason deep down because I didn't think there was a reason for me but after so much hard work me and my counsellor found the course to my "problem"

Most depression cases are like that, dear. That's why it's called a disorder, an illness. Depression is mainly caused by chemical imbalance in the brain which produce certain hormones that cause something that we call "depressed" feeling.

Generally, when a person is depressed without an apparent reason, it is because they have clinical depression or they are experiencing depression as a symptom of another illness/disorder (as depression can be a symptom of PTSD and personality disorders). Do some research and talk to a mental health professional about this whenever you have the chance.
