There is always a reason. Most people feel depressed when they're doing nothing, so find something to do.

There doesn't have to be a reason why you feel depressed, it can come out of nowhere and at any time. What matters is that you try and get help

Random attacks of depression can be caused by thinking about something that makes you sad, like the death of someone you care about or an ex boyfriend/girlfriend, the best way to avoid it is to talk about it with someone so that you can express your feelings

Sometimes it just happens. Something around you, maybe a little kid falling down, or someone did or said something, or something is happening 3000 miles away and you hear about it. And sometimes it's because nothing happened, or there's nothing around, and no trigger becomes your trigger.

You can feel depressed for too many reasons, it could be what you are thinking, what you are seeing, what you hear. A memory of something or someone. Or the wish of having something you think you would never get.

Do you think it might have to do with something like low blood sugar (as in has it been awhile since you've eaten)? Do you think you might be having a delayed response to something that happened while ago that was sad? Do you feel like you may be lacking something or someone? Has something recently changed (for example you moved somewhere new) and could it be you miss something/someone that has changed? There are a variety of reasons why you may be feeling down, these are just a few questions to help you figure it out. If you feel it's necessary, it might also be a good idea to consult a health professional for more help.

It's natural , just wait it out. Listen to some music, watch old movies, do things you enjoy see if it helps. And maybe consider spending time getting to know you a bit better :) It's worth it!

Its just because you think too much about things. Remember, some things in life are not under our control

Depression can arrive at any time. Sadly it is a virus of the mind. You must keep your mind set on positive things. If you concentrate on light hearted things, you can cheer yourself up or keep yourself from feeling depressed.
