Depression is like a closed bottle, sometimes you get depressed, but you decide to ignore the situation till the bottle get filled and overflows so you start to feel the results of it. You breakdown which relief you a bit, but still doesn't solve the problem so the bottle get overflowed again and so on. Bottom line, always solve the problems and the causes and never ignore it or wait for it to go away by itself.

Depression can come from anywhere. All it takes is something to trigger and the bad feelings roll right in. Your mindset and environments can be direct triggers to why your depression might come from no where.

It is possible to feel depressed out of nowhere, we all have good and bad days. Don't worry about it happening every once in a while. If it starts to interfere with your day-to-day life, that is the point when help is needed.

Depression is caused by a chemical imbalance, and does not always require a painful experience for it to be triggered.

Maybe you have changed without realizing. Or there was a drastic moment in your life and you didn't know how to react.

It is important to take inventory of what is happening in your life and the people that are in it. Does it seem like the depression started when someone entered your life or you visited a new environment? Did you start a new path in life and deep down feel scared or unhappy? Take time to look inside of you to figure out what makes you happy and motivated, then try to make those changes little by little. Know that it is not your fault and you are not doing anything wrong. You are strong and will get through this.
