Sometimes sleeping too much can be a sign of depression or other mental health disorders. Sometimes, you desire to sleep more because it is needed, give your body the rest it deserves. If lasting for more than a few days, talk with your counselor/doctor. You may be experiencing a need for sleep for a more serious reason.

Wanting too much sleep can be due to multiple reasons - you could just be over exhausting yourself physically or even mentally - you might be wanting an escape from reality and being awake is just not making you happy.

If you feel like you want to sleep all the time try to go to a doctor, some lack of vitamins can drain your energy and make you sleepy. This is a tough question without a medical diagnosis. Sleeping is often a way of coping with depression, so if you have depression, that could be a possible reason. However, the desire to sleep constantly is oftentimes a sign that something is wrong. Talk to a doctor or someone you trust to know for sure. At least then you could fully understand; this is just something I would do â¤

There are several reasons why someone might feel incredibly tired. Some common ones I can think of include depression, anxiety, hypothyroidism (your body is not producing enough thyroid hormone), lack of nutrition, and anemia. Sleeping too much can certainly interfere with your life. It sounds like this is an important topic to bring up with your doctor! They will be able to pinpoint the exact cause!
