Because depression is a chemical disorder in the brain.say you remember going to the park as a little kid and you loved going down the slide,well when you are older and you go to even a different park and you see a slide you get excited.In the same way when something that caused your depression to start comes to the surface some how and you are triggered it is hard to stop thinking about so to even attempt to get rid of depression you have to stop the triggers

Because no matter how hard you try to deal with depression there's always going to be something that will trigger that mood again. Life is difficult, there's not doubt about it. Everyone has to deal with stressors on a day to day basis. Life isn't perfect, but I just focus on what I love and I motivate myself to achieve highly. My motivation stops me from feeling depressed constantly. I found something I am passionate about and I do not plan to let go. No one can get over depression, but as strong human beings we learn to deal with it.
