You are not asking a right question. The question should be, "how can I get out it as o have realized that it is not suitable for my life". There are no why's. Asking why is like already losing hope and giving up. This why is not showing the desire to deal with it. This why is the result of you holding back yourself. And you can always pull yourself out of it. Not just by yourself, but by seeking help from people around you. Maybe you are not looking at the brighter side at all. Maybe you are not that encouraged and excited about the new life. Maybe you are not looking forward to change.

Sometimes we want to pull ourselves out of a problem, but we don't always have the means to do so. And that's okay. But when we feel ike that, it might be beneficial if we choose to reach out for some additional help and support from the people that we are closest to, or a mental health professional. We can't do everything in life alone. So asking for a little bit of help is nothing to be embarassed about. Sometimes mental disorders can prevent us from being able to simply "get over it" too. But there are people out there that are trained to help with that.
