Depression is like having a really bad flu. It takes time and medication to help fix the problem. Usually people stayed depressed because they aren't making an effort to change the thing that makes us unhappy. If you are making an effort it is because you aren't changing the main problem or facing the things that you are too scared to confront.

There may be a trigger that is causing you feel this way. It is hard to isolate what the issue is. But you will have to think and reflect for yourself which is not a rush. Think to yourself what is making you sad and try to make it less important to you.
