Depression is an excruciating disease, it needs alot of strength to be spoken about. In my opinion, it is better if we can just simply talk to someone who is emphatic and not sympathetic.

You can seek help with your local doctor. I would go there first as they sometimes, depending on where you live, can get you free psychotherapy. Your doctor also has the authority to give you prescribed medicine. It can be antidepressive medication or others. Another option is to search for a licensed therapist or psychologist near you. Ask around or search online for reviews before picking one. You can also try out the therapy that 7cups offers.

Lots of places! Our Listeners here on 7 Cups are here for you. There are also countless online resources available, both free and paid. If you are still in school, often times schools have counselors or other free mental health resources. You can bring the issue up to your friends, family, or even your doctor. And, of course, you can always get the help of a therapist. Often, it is hard to reach out for help. But when you do, the results are invaluable. You don't have to start big; maybe just reach out to one of the Listeners on this site. We're all here for you.
