it starts getting easy when you accept it and decide that you want to work on not having it anymore. you slowly start finding ways to get better. So basically all you need to do is believe in yourself and focus on things that make you happy and things that actually matter to you. Try finding out the reason that caused your depression in the first place by asking questions like "when did i actually start feeling like this", etc. Once you fully understand the details remove the negativity and that is when it starts getting easier to deal with.

To get easier is to have hope, to have motivation and to have a drive to improve yourself mentally, physically and socially. Life will always be hard, and depression doesn’t make it any easier, but to ‘get easier’ is to have the perseverance to continue with life no matter how hard it’s getting. It’s to acknowledge when you’re not feeling the best but to also acknowledge that you are capable of feeling better. Trust me, ‘getting easier’ is this sense of pride in the fact that you’re still holding on, and that you don’t want to let go. It’s the sense of accomplishment, and the feeling that there is more to be accomplished. It’s the first step to overcoming depression. Hope this helped answer your question.
