Not being a relationship can make us feel lonely, unloved and unwanted because as human beings, we yearn for companionship. However, being in relationships cause a whole different set of heartbreaks as well. It is easy to be manipulated and influenced by the media and romanticise the idea of being in a relationship. Relationship and being single have both pros and cons and it's important to understand that.

well first of all let me tell you a story, i have never been asked out, i haven't ever been kissed and when i was younger that really sucked, but the more time goes on i realise, you don't need another person to define you! you don't get cheat on, you don't have to go on uncomfortable dates ect, remember its their loss and it will happen! but for the time being keep yourself occupied , do things learn to play an instrument, it will take your mind off things :) xx

If you want a relationship then you need to go out and find it. Most people have to work at finding one, not all of them will come to you. Sometimes these things take time, and it is often true that good things come to those who wait.
You should make new friends, go out with your new and old friends and keep in touch. Why not join some groups or clubs? Get involved with local events and get active! Not only will these drastically increase your chances of finding a relationship but you'll also be happier with having some adventure and entertainment in your life.
So if you want a relationship, you have to go out and find it. Put yourself out there and don't be afraid. Oh, and don't be too eager, you need to make sure you don't rush into anything.
It's not easy, but who said it would be? If it's worth having, it's worth working for.

A relationship isn't necessary for happiness, surround yourself with friends and family and remember that those are the most valued relationships- and not all have them.

Acceptance is key, then realisation. Realise and understand that there are supportive people around you, and that you're just waiting for the perfect partner. Do not force a relationship. Find someone who will treat you like royalty.

The best way I have found was to think of the benefits of being single versus the cons of being single. You have more time to build a base of friends and spend more time with your family. The best part about not being in a relationship is you get to leave yourself wide open for when that day which it will come you meet the one that takes your breath away, and sweeps you off of your feet.

Don’t compare yourself to people who have relationships. Just know that you will find someone when it is destined to happen. No sooner and no later. It is hard to be patient but true love is worth the wait.

Fill the void by being compassionate towards others. Volunteer at the humane society or homeless shelter, make an effort to be a great sibling or friend, find joy in being there for others until the right person comes along.
