Well a bunch of chemical reactions. The more you're into neurology, the better you'll understand. To defeat the enemy, we should know how the enemy fights, same with depression.

When I’m depressed whats going on in my brain is the past & the present. I tend to rehash past expierences or trauma & I’m upset I didn’t handle things in a better way. If I would react differently I may not carry these “ hurts†with me throughout my life. I also look at the future & tend to have a sad outlook. If I could be more present & mindful that may change the negative thinking. There is alot of tools I’ve learned to change this mindset & I’m looking forward to using these on myself , ad I do look at others in situations when they are struggling. Learning to be mindful & present. This is an awesome tool to have in your tool box.
