Bug some friends, really, and either let them know or just have a good time with them, and try out new things. And if you don't have friends, avoid browsing websites that just distract you, and actually think about your problems instead of pushing them away, and then pretend you are social until you feel a little bit more social :) And just see if you maybe find others that aren't doing so great either, maybe people you haven't even really noticed before.

Well, there are lots of things you can do. As long as your mind is busy, you stop feeling depressed. You can work, study, get some sort of hobby such as photography, drawing, writing, read books, build skill in some area of your life, and try to master it. As long as you're doing something, anything positive and it makes you feel well, you're doing the right thing. Just watch out and don't let yourself get into bad habits like drinking, smoking, binge eating.

I like to go out for a walk and just enjoy nature. If you are more of a stay home type of person maybe watching a movie or reading a book might help you. Another idea could be chatting to a listener here on 7cups :)
