Consider speaking with your supervisor to see if any accommodations can be made to decrease your level of stress, or if any company resources are available. Speak with colleagues about how they maintain a positive attitude at work. If you suspect that you may be clinically depressed, I recommend seeing a licensed medical professional regarding your concerns; he/she is really the best person to help you deal with those symptoms.

A good start might be thinking through what is making you depressed at work. Are your coworkers bothering you? Is your boss demanding too much? Is your work frustrating or physically demanding? Once you decide what exactly it is that is bothering you, it will be easier to decide on a course of action from there.

Talk to someone at work you trust. If you don't feel comfortable with anyone at work, try your best not to let it interfere. I know it's hard because the feelings are so overwhelming but try to talk to a coworker that you trust.

When I am depressed I get on to 7cupsoftea and speak with a listener. This site takes a weight off of the heart and the mind. Knowing there is always someone there to talk to and know you are never alone.
