Depression makes you think that all is hopeless, and there is nothing left to look forward to in life, and anxiety makes you fear happiness, love, hope, life. Its a scary place to live.

It is miserable. There is no sugar coating that. But that does NOT mean it isn't treatable. I came out a new person. Looking back, getting help was the best thing I've ever done. Help is okay.

It's like nothing in this world makes sense, it's when your chest becomes tight and you feel like you can't breathe, it is when you can't enjoy anymore the small things in life and all you can feel is complete sadness. Feeling fear from no actual reasons. Feeling more dead rather than alive.

Having depression and Anxiety are some of the worst things in the world. It stops you from living your life and it tries to take you down and turn you into something your not. Even though it does these things i believe everybody has there own way of dealing with it and i believe that everyone who has depression and anxiety are just as equal to people who don't. so if you have depression or anxiety or both. I give you props for waking up everyday dealing with it and living your life

Depression is like...being numb. Its not just the feeling of sadness its really the feeling of nothing. It pops up at any time. Depression is having no motivation. At night you just stare at the ceiling because you have no motivation to close your eyes. Anxiety is the complete opposite. Its like someone is yelling "Fire! Fire!" or "This is an emergency!" you are always alert. And having both...its terrible. If your laying in bed anxiety would be saying "Come on! Hurry up! Get up! Danger!" but depression is saying "Whats the point? It doesn't even matter anymore" its a constant struggle...a battle. Its very difficult to go through.

Having depression is like not feeling anything. Having anxiety feels like feeling every emotion possible.

Personally, I suffer with anxiety. I don't label myself as a person who has it because I don't want the attention. It is extremely difficult to do things with so little confidence, but 7 Cups gives me that boost in which I am able to help other people and see past the uncertainty within me. I love it and wouldn't change a thing about myself.

Depression is feeling like you are alone even though there are people all around you. Like a feeling of isolation. Anxiety is feeling like the entire world is falling around you and there is nothing you can do but sit there and watch.

Everyone experiences it differently but here are my thoughts:
Anxiety feels like being unsafe, like something is terribly wrong. I also feel there are different types of anxiety:
1. Physical- that you think something is wrong with you and could be something serious (like a funny pain or ache)
2. Anxiety over a specific thing- for example "Did I embarrass myself last night?" "Doe my boyfriend actually love me? Oh no, is he made?" And obsessing over it.
3. Generalised (and my worst)- Everything is FINE , you could be at home watching your favourite show and just have this terrible uneasy feeling in your gut.
