I like to think about possible explanations for my lack of motivation. Then, once I can generate a list of reasons, I like to tackle them one by one, little by little. This helps give continual feelings of satisfaction and encourages motivation. Attainable goals is key for boosting motivation, since it can become almost addicting when each one is achieved. It also helps to have a concrete representation of what's holding you back, so then you can physically destroy it and move on from it. It's not only an emotional release this way, but becomes manageable and visible.

Try something new, an activity that you have some interest in. Sometimes a change can help revive passions or gain motivation that can be channelled into different areas. Start small, but it is helpful to develop habits, no matter how small, whether it be writing a journal, exercise, meditation or anything else. Also, what helps me is getting a clear workplace or area - this can be doing a declutter or just cleaning your area to clear your mindset, which gives me more passion and motivation. It is good that you want to get out of this rut, it is just important to make that first leap and then make habits out of that.

I ususally find something that I love to do. I go read a book that I loved or I play guitar. I may draw or write poetry, depending on the time I have. People often feel no motivation or passion, and it's a completely normal thing. The best way for me to get through it is do something that I love or talk to friends about it. Confiding in somebody when things go badly is a really comforting thing to do. I'll even go on 7 Cups and talk to some people about what's happening, or I'll talk to the people that I'm friends with on here. :)

When I have no passion or drive, I take a moment to reset my mindset by going for a walk on the beach. Then asking myself how can I get through this? Reflecting on the events leading up to now help me get over this "bump in the road". The lack of passion is completely normal, and everyone experiences it at least once in their life. Resetting and re-establishing your interests, goals, reminding yourself how you got here in the first place, and just taking a moment to step back from reality and releasing the weight of world on your shoulders is the next step in regaining that drive to press forward and work through a difficult time.

Everyone will have a feeling like this at some point of their life. When I feel like I have no passion or drive for life, I would like to explore new things. I will try to find which makes me feel good and excited. And list out the things I am interested. I will find that I am good at them or not. I mean I will try to find which stage i am with that particular thing. And based on that I will try to find the realistic passion of my life. If not I will continue explore things until I find something that makes me feel good and enthusiastic. Keep Exploring yourself !! Good day !

I remind myself that the passion comes after the action, if i wait for my emotions to get aligned with my intentions, ill just end up wasting time. So ill just start small, and then most of the time i get the emotion afterwords. As for long term passion or meaning, that too has similar approach from me. I feel like what we do regularly becomes our passion unless if some subconscious barriers are involved, in which case it becomes somewhat tough. It is a good practice though to keep looking for subconscious barriers and then trying to find a solution to them.

I think this is something everyone feels from time to time. It's like being stuck in mud- once you feel that way, it can be hard to come out of it. However, one way to look at it is to see this an opportunity to find new passions and drives you otherwise didn't know you had. Start by thinking about the things that perhaps you like to do anyway, as those are things that will motivate you. Then perhaps take small steps everyday to spend your time with activities you like and appreciate. When you do these things, try to be mindful at the same time you're doing them. Really try to focus on the task, even if your mind does begin to think you aren't fully passionate or driven towards it. If anything, doing this will help clarify exactly what you like as a hobby and something you could engage yourself in more. Having passion and drive isn't something that you can magic overnight. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to think about what you really want to invest yourself in.

You take a break. you relax and let everything go and you focus on you and only you. You learn to take a break to breathe. Maybe even start meditation. you clear your mind from anything that bothers you or keeps buzzing through your mind. You try doing some of things you used to like, maybe watch a series you love, draw, read, listen to the singer/band you love. You maybe cook, watch sunrise when everything is quiet. You go for walks and focus on breathing to relax. How you feel is common and there is nothing wrong with it. we are humans not robots, with the current worldwide pandemic situation, it is okay to feel overwhelmed and demotivated to do anything. So you just take a break, and focus on you relaxing and as time goes buy you'll start feeling like yourself again.

Try new things. You will definitely find something you are passionate about. Something that will eventually become your Ikigai- Reason to wake up from the bed in the morning.
There must be something that you always wanted to do but couldn't. So, this is the time to try it. Give it a go. Who knows what you might like doing so much that it eventually becomes your passion, your drive at the end of the day.
And just remember these wise words from a very wise person- Either you do what you love or you love what you do.
Take care!

You've gotta really lean into the lack of ambition. Take advantage of the sort of numb state your in and just mindlessly do something even somewhat productive. Like just read and whenever you wanna stop reading just force lean into the fact that you have no drive to do anything so you may as well just continue to mindlessly read this book. It might be kinda confusing, I'm not sure but yeah lean into it. You don't need passion to do stuff, you can do stuff without drive. Try to let go of the stigma surrounding "lack of drive" and just mindlessly do something.
