if you feel you have no passion or drive it may be time to reach out to friends and family and they may join you in the conversation about how they relate and what to do. seeking professiolnal help like a Therapist may be in order to help get you back on track and you may remember what it felt like when you had passion, it probably felt great so you took on more challenges but somehow it went away like you hit a wall. it may be harder to do the things you were doing before. you need to push past what stands in front of you and ask for help from friends and family

Try to set small tasks for yourself and reward yourself for completing small tasks such as making your bed and practicing hygiene.

I try to be gentle with myself. I avoid shaming myself or focusing on guilt about what I "should" be doing. I try to find something i can be curious about, to more naturally build towards interest in something, which in turn could grow into passion. I've heard people make the comparison to plants. You can make sure there's water and sunshine and fertilizer, but you can't rush the growth. I also think it's important to celebrate each step taken. Make that important phone call? Watch an episode of a favorite show!

I listen to music that literally relates to my life or what I'm going through at the moment. I find music to be almost euphoric it can make you feel something you might never have experienced before. Not everybody can talk to someone about their problems and when you listen to music it feels almost like the artist is speaking to you directly. And that they understand you better that you understand yourself. The artist that drives me and inspires me is Jahseh onfroy. He spoke about real world problems. And how to deal with hate and depression he was a really great person.

Try to remember happy, exciting memories. Sometimes recalling your old emotions can invigorate your current emotional state into good or bad, whatever you choose. Choose passion by remembering a time when you were actively passionate. Sometimes it is possible to channel your past emotions from positive memories. They could be favorite, energetic people you remember. They could also be an experience you have gone through and had success as an outcome. They can also be the good feelings you get from reading a good book or watching your favorite tv show/movie. I wish you all the best of luck in life and hope that you all find your peace and balance in this life.

This is something I often struggle with. First- I make sure that I take a bit of time to take care of myself, with both my physical and mental health. Then after taking that needed break I have to just jump into a small task. Often I do not feel motivated in the moment but by just getting started anyway and then completeing a task I feel accomplished. Having just one little task done helps me with my motivation and drive to keep pushing forward and getting other tasks done. There is a saying- A body in rest stays in rests, a body in motion stays in motion. Although it is not easy, sometimes we have to force ourselves to get up and start on something to push us forward and get that passion and drive started. :)

I’m glad you asked. We all feel this way sometimes. But my answer would be: Anything! :) Specifically, anything that gives you a sense of personal freedom from whatever has driven you to feel ‘too drove’. To the point where you have none left. Cleaning house is always a good way to be with your ‘overdrive’ self. Removing the layers of funk and funk works deeply on the soul; cleaning is both a metaphor and a means for self growth. I like to put on some soothing or uplifting music, and just move. Even if you don’t ‘feel it’, the results of your efforts can be refreshingly gratifying. It might inspire a sense of confidence that can further trigger drive. Go for a walk. Or talk. Or bake some cookies: following a recipe is great for concentration and precision, which are both good things to practice for brain health. And cookies smell good! The olfactory sense is directly connected to memory, so in surrounding ourselves with nice smells, we attach a good memory and feeling to what would otherwise be a not so good one. In my experience, when you lose your passion or drive, it means your system - your mind and body as a whole unit - are out of sync and are asking you to get back in touch with true Self; the Self that can be likened to the most honest and amazing mechanic/caregiver for our vehicles. We are not encouraged enough in our ‘chase the things’ world to take time for emotional and personal self care. (Watch the Ted talk on emotional first aid :) And I believe it is because of this that we can periodically feel a lack of motivation. We are not machines. And we cannot expect to feel awesome all the time. But what we can expect is that when we feel flat, we are powerful enough to acknowledge it, and to see it as an opporunity to remember and discover what gives us a sense of passion.

When I have no passion or drive I write exactly what's going on in my head and then I get up put of bed and get a big glass of cold water (even if it takes a lot of effort) and I drink the entire thing to energize me and then j run back to my room (slowly building up my energy) and then I listen to a fast paced upbeat song that gets me exited and by that point I have a little bit of energy to do average daily things. Its kind of dumb but for me it works!

I will make a time table plan for those tasks which need to be done within a certain time for the day so important things will not be missed out because of my low feelings. I will feel better and become more confident in coping with my emotions when those plans are achieved. At the same time, I will spend sometime to read book or articles which I am interested in a way to help me relax myself. I would also try to talk to friends if anyone of them is available. I always feel better after talking to a friend.
