something that i've come to realize through suffering from depression is that starting is usually one of the hardest parts. if there's something that i need to do, like work or studying, i tell myself that i only need to work for two minutes. two minutes isn't a very long time, so it feels more doable. i get up and do that work for two minutes, and if i feel like i need a break, i take a five minute break and try again after. if i can keep working, i work for another two minutes, and so on. if there isnt anything pressing i need to get done but i should just get out of bed, i have a checklist: have i eaten today? have i drunk enough water? taken a shower? gone outside? talked to someone? i go through the checklist (making sure to take it easy and be kind with myself), and usually by the time i've gone through at least a few of the items on my checklist, i feel a little better. these are some things that work for me, and that might work for you

Find something to look forward to in the morning that will give you a good enough reason to get out of bed. This can be something as simple as a kind of cereal you like, a hot shower with music. Reward yourself for getting out of bed when you do. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can also help with this, by reframing your thoughts. When you thing "Uhh I'm so tired I want to stay in bed," try following that thought with "But if I get up and take a shower, I'll feel better."

When I suffered from depression, I found that creating a chart of activities helped me a lot. No matter how mundane the task was like 'buy milk' or 'listen to Chris Brown's song' I would write it down and when I have done it, I would put a tick on the side. It helped me feel a sense of accomplishment and allowed me to keep going.

Depression can be exhausting and incredibly difficult to motivate yourself to get out of bed. I like to keep fluids on my nightstand so I have to get up to go to the bathroom. From there, I find something that really needs my attention- like the cats food, water, box- or I decide to cook a meal that will keep me on my feet preparing. After that, I can always see something around me I should be doing. It's a matter of baby steps and just getting started, and soon I feel I have enough energy to stay out of bed for the day. Good luck!

Get a dog, you have to get out of bed to let to dog out or he'll poop and pee all over your house. Also, get a workout partner, you'll let your workout partner down when you skip out.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting up and moving. Ease yourself out of bed. Are you hungry? Start there and slowly take small strides to build onto your day. You might also try sleeping with your blinds open so that light comes into your room. Sunlight is a natural mood booster and that may be all the motivation you need to help you get out of bed.

Although it is extremely difficult at times, you must find something you enjoy doing, even if it is small. I enjoy embroidery, drawing, coloring, and being a listener here at 7 cups of tea. In order for me to do any of that, I make sure that I have to get out of bed. My computer, drawing and coloring materials, and embroidery circle are always at my desk, which are in a different room than my bed. When I started doing this, I noticed that it was easier for me to get out of bed so that I could do the things I enjoyed even if it was just for a short period of time :)
