Find someone you trust and talk to them. Make yourself heard. I went through depression and still do to this day, but finding someone (multiple people actually) who I could talk to truly helped me through the rough times. Also, I recommend trying out some mindfulness exercises to really become in tune with your body and mind.

Find out your trigger. If you are able to pin point your trigger, actively find a way to remove it. Take things one day at a time.

You just have to believe in yourself and remember that no matter how bad it might be, it will get better. Know that even though you might not be able to see it now, you're amazing and you've always been. "The storm will clear and you'll realize that you can move mountains" -PW

The best way to manage depression is with support. It is worth speaking to a medical doctor who may be able to recommend a therapist or antidepressant medication or both. It may also be worth attending support groups and keeping in touch with family and friends and isolation often makes it worse. At 7cups of tea many listeners have experience of depression and are more than willing to support you. Some people also find it helpful to speak to a member of their particular religious community. You can get better and there is hope it just takes time.

first of all, keep breathing. This sounds silly, but making sure you breath right is really important. Somedays, all you need is an ear to listen to you. for those days, we're all here for you. But there are times, when the dark is so dark, that a psychologist or psychiatrist would be what you need. This doesn't make you 'insane'or 'nuts'. Reaching out to them is you being strong enough to get help for a problem.

First, have you spoken to anyone else about this? If not, I recommend you do so as soon as possible! I know it can be scary but it's better. That also goes with asking a professional. It can be scary and very unnerving to have to ask someone else but I promise you, it will be better for you and hey, you get to make a new friend. What's the harm in that? Remember. You are never a burden on them, either. So please! Do talk to them!
