Depression is not something you can solve, its a misunderstood illness, seek help, it works, my personal experience has shown me that it will rear up and affect so many areas of your life, and as much as the people around you want to help, depression has so much stigma that often they don't know how to help. A professional you feel comfortable will allow you to explore what's causing you to feel the way you do, and in time you'll be able to accept the things that have happened to you and begin moving forward. But just know its not something that will be solved over night, you need to be dedicated and willing to explore the depths of your soul.

Depression is a complex thing and can be occurring for many different reasons. It also depends how clinically depressed you are that will determine your response time for recovery. You can always message me privately for gradual advice, active listening on my end and to vent. :)

When you are experienceing depression, you should try to get out the house more or carry on doing what did/does make you happy. A lot of people stp doing things like these because some people stop doing what they enjoy becuase they are depressed but stoped doing it on their own terms, thinking it was depression when it was actually all them. If you carry on doing what you like sometimes you can manage to "run" from depression, but if it is not working, and you are not feeling any better, go find a doctor and tell them how you feel. they can help!

I think the best thing to do is just to talk to someone about it. Either one of your close friends, someone in your family or go to a trained guidance counsellor and just talk to them and get them to give you ways to help you. Every morning when you wake up just think of a bunch of things to be grateful for and just remember everything is temporary and if you kill yourself or do anything now it wont be worth it because in a few months or years it will all be in the past and will seem miniscule.
