Online Volunteer Opportunities: Why should I be a 7Cups listener?

Being a Listener on this site is extremely rewarding, I can tell you that. My perspective of life has changed completely, and I feel like I am making a huge difference to other people’s lives globally - (7 Cups is international). There are opportunities to take on other community roles also, which can help make a difference to people who really need this online support. What I would also say though - is that it’s important not to get too caught up with the badges, awards, status titles etc on this site - because the reason we are here is to help others out of the goodness of our hearts and we should not forget that. Plus, to take care of others we must take care of ourselves - and it’s important not too add to much of these pressures to ourselves. Like with everything, there’s both positives and negatives to volunteering on here, but I personally believe this site is amazing and I love spending my time here.
