Not many people to thru what we go not many people know what it actually feels like not many know how it hurts but there is people that do and that one way or another they had felt or been feeling like we have at one point in the road and they can't seem to go on here 7cups not only gives us a Chance to show that we have reasons to keep living but it shows is that we have each other back and that no matter what we are not alone that we will always have people to help and to be there I think people should be a listener to show those out there that no matter what there not alone and to help us reach out to every single one of them

To help others to feel better and keep them from harming themselves and/or others. To also help myself to understand my own problems and by helping others I also help myself.

If you are good with advice, listening, empathy, communication, and a few other things, I think this position is definitely right for you. Sometimes though, you can't let too much of your own personal feeling get in the way of your volunteering because that may make things trickier. Over time I have trained myself to get into a mindset where if a chat is upsetting, I will take positive action to care for myself and can still carry on through the chat, keep my cool, keep patience, and similar. Otherwise I will ask if I can refer them to another listener.
But 7 Cups is a brilliant service. I used to message in a bit, and now I've made my return, but this time to help others. Also if you feel strongly about things (maybe it be divorce, PTSD, chronic pain, self injury, loneliness, etc.) then you're in the right place.
Hope to see you soon!

You can be a 7 cups listeners because you can meet other listeners and get support from your chats if necessary, feeling good about giving to other people to where they feel listened and trusts you with their problems or even joining teams, becoming peer support or even a mod to have a great experience.

Being a 7Cups listener has actually elevated my sense of self worth. It gave me the opportunity to take my own life experiences in depression, lonliness, and anxiety and help someone recognize their feelings if they're feeling confused as to why they are feeling a certain way.

I enjoy helping others get through good times and bad. The bad times always end up good if you step back and step out of tunnel vision. I would like to listen to what needs to be said so they can release what may be holding them at that moment. I understand it may be easier to talk to someone you do not know sometimes. I also understand family may not be the best to discuss certain issues with. I am here to help you to guide you to your own solution. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
