I won't know until I've had the chance to try and help others by listening. Blah, blah, blah, 100 characters.

Being a 7cups listener enables you to give your time when it suits you and can fit around all kinds of timetables. It also enables you to learn a great deal about mental health while being in an environment where you are able to reach out to others if you need further information or advice. In all being a 7cups listener helps you greatly and allows you to reach some of the most vulnerable people who would not otherwise have anyone to hear their stories frustration and pain.

If you are an individual whom enjoys helping others, can effectively listen, and be a non-judgmental/ understanding person, you may be able to help many. Everyone is different with their listening style, and maybe you are exactly the person was searching for.

Depends upon why you want to be one or are thinking of being one. You get experience, broaden your mind and learn something new. If you enjoy helping people, even without thanks, then you'll enjoy the satisfaction of helping others. It also helps some people's mentality by making them feel like they're needed. Some feel it helps them realise that their problems aren't as bad as others and helps them to reflect upon themselves in a positive manner. When a Listener talks through scenarios with the person, it makes them reflect and put the scenarios to their own lives and helps them realise the answers to their own questions. Hope this helps.
