I've been frustrated about feeling sad without any reason, I kept blaming myself. I realized that I have depression and that is part of me.

Depression is not apart of you and it never will be. Depression is something people let become apart of them but you shouldn't let it build a home in your soul. Second chances are apart of you. So take it and wash away the depression

I have suffered with depression for several years and i have come to realize that it is something that never really goes away. It's something that you figure out along the way on how to better handle it. It takes a lot of time sitting down, really trying to figure out who you are as a person and what sorts of things make you happy as well as coping mechanisms for times when you just cant bring yourself to be happy.

And that is completely okay! Depression takes over your mind, thoughts and feelings, it becomes part of you. Suddenly your not yourself anymore, you're just someone controled by this mental illness. But here's the thing, you can't let depression wins, you have stop it from becoming something so big and unberable that, well, you know what would happen after that. If you think you really are depressed, you should see a psychologist and maybe even a psychatrist. But I swear to you that you will get better

I'm sorry you feel this way. Please, remember that depression is a real, tangible thing; it's an imbalance of chemicals in your brain and can happen to anyone in any situation. Mental illnesses are just as valid as physical ones. Even without depression, feeling sad without reason is still valid. If someone is hurt, they should be helped regardless of the cause.

I personally think that depression is due to over thinking and worrying about either past events or future events often we tend to live in the stages of life and forget that we are actually living in the now so if one can take the time to step back and look inside one will make room for growth.
