I’ve been depressed for so long and I just feel trapped and I have severe problems about talking to people about my problems and just don’t know what to do. Does anyone have any advise?

All I can say is that I feel the same. Every day the same routine, low mood and lack of interest in anything. At least we are not alone with this. I hope you find a way out.

Sometimes talking to a plushie (or even online) helps alot and can spark the motivation and the strenght to actually take the step into reality and get help. I had been depressed since a long time in my life for all my teenage years and childhood but never took the chance (until I was around 16) to talk with someone. Just then I took the step into therapy. Is there someone that can go with you there? Maybe a social worker that can help you making an appointment? Maybe you just wanna talk to your favorite plushie about it? Everything is a good step in the right direction.

I'm really sorry to hear you are struggling so much at the moment I know it makes everything so much more difficult when you can't communicate to others how you feel. In the past when I felt this way I started by communicating with people through writing, they could be sat next to me but it just made it so much easier to write my feelings down instead of say them. Gradually over time this has helped me to get better at vocalising my feelings but it's a really great place to start. Maybe this could help you too. Take care
