It's never a quick fix to anything, nothing is going to change over night, but as long as you work towards changing the issue at hand, your depression will be more manageable.

There are no quick-fixes for depression. There are, however, ways to increase the speed of recovery. Like daily routine activities and excercising.

I think, you just have to keep reminding yourself that every day you are a day closer to feeling better. Also try thinking about the happiest moment you have ever Experienced, and remember the joy you had at that moment. Don't give up and get well soon !!

When we feel down, we typically don’t want to interact with others. This is partly because we don’t want others to see our negative side, but it’s mostly because we don’t think that hanging out with others is really going to help us feel better. just call one of the “favorites†on your smart phone and make a plan to meet. Tell them about what is troubling you to get you started—even a short chat with a close-friend can significantly improve your mood.

There is zero quick fix for depression. Medication can feel like a mask drawn in front of your face. Self help books are as good as the effort and energy expelled into them, and they can take months even years to discover your self worth. Depression comes from where you are, the season you're in, and the journey you are on. You have not chosen the wrong journey, but your spiritual guides have tasked you with an experience to bring a higher power so you can enrich others in their path.

Depression takes a while to get over. You can't be depressed one day and then get up perfectly fine the next. However, there is many things that can help you if you're depressed. Talk to a counselor, a family member, a close friend that you can trust, or a listener on 7 cups. We're always here for you, and there's many other people, too. Create friends at school that you can talk to, or even talk to your teachers.
