This site is a great stepping stone to help you problem solve your feelings. The listeners are caring, the information on the worksheets and training manuals is vastly educational, but - resorting to the website all the time might not provide a full scope of necessary attention and care. 7 Cups is one resource, but it's important to explore additional resources that may offer you real contact with health care professionals and mentors. These are individuals near you, who can give you deeper understanding of how to put coping skills to use. People who you can visit with in person, face-to- face can give you more feedback on things like your affect, your body language and your overall energy levels. Support groups in your local area can offer friendships and a place to meet people who'll certainly understand what you are going through. They can also give you great information about events in your community that may further help you to grow.

I wouldn't say always, but a nice portion of the time this site is extremely helpful. Speaking from personal experience, I don't always find a listener whom I can connect with - even after searching several times. Though, from the ones that I have found, they've been super helpful!

Of course! There are so many different people here and each person tries to help each other. I've learned this thanks to someone kind and I'm trying to be kind on this website too. People really should visit us and text us. Because all of us have different stories in our lifes and maybe yours can be similar to ours. Don't hesitate to come here because there is always a solution here.

This site is a great coping skill when you are feeling down, but to consistently depend on this site is probably not the best idea,

It is can be a very important tool in your toolbox! At the same time, it is important to learn multiple ways to cope. Maybe sometimes you can do something that makes you laugh, you could do something practical to take care of yourself (exercise, go for a walk, take a deep breath), and you could learn ways to be kind and compassionate to yourself. Don't feel bad for coming here, it is good to ask for help! At the same time, I encourage you to have lots of ways to take care of yourself. Much love.

If that is what is currently in your basket of resources, that's perfectly fine. Maybe communicating to the loved ones around you isn't plausible or difficult. We all start out with zero, then one place to turn to. Other resources I eventually included was my mom, my suoervisor at work,,my team lead at work, two friends at work, a friend from university. They all learned about my thoughts and problem unintentionally through events. Reaching out to live people in your life can be scary, risky but rewarding. I try to spread out my discussion on anxieties over several people, so i don't burn them out.

Not completely. This site is to find friendly people who wants to listen to you compassionately and give you the help they can give. But when you are having serious problems, you should go with a specialist or a professional. Here, almost all listeners are volunteers with no real professionalism.

No, there are referral partners who can help with specific issues, also consider talking to your GP as stress and anxiety need intervention before they worsen.

Absolutely! That's what we're all here for, and visiting is an act of self care. This is one of the ideal places to depend on when you're feeling down, and I hope when you've spent time here, you leave with some comfort, reassurance, and are able to see a little more sunshine. If you feel like you need more tailored support however, or want to try it, you can always look at the counselling option, either through 7 Cups, or through your GP. Hope today is a better one
