No, and if you are you may need more than just a passing chat to help you feel better again. I would encourage you to get help, call a crisis line, talk to a general care physician, a counselor or therapist, a clergy member, someone who is going to reassure you and be your partner as you try to find help. I know the hospital is a scary place, but if you are getting close to planning or acting on anything sometimes you need someplace that is going to be safe, where you couldn't do it even if you wanted to, while they figure out how to get you stable again. Just keep on holding on.. and please get help!

No. Its not. I lived that way for most of my middle school years. Didn't really think much about it until I attempted it. 3 times.. You need to speak up and get help! Just like I did! :)

Having thoughts about wanting to be dead can be part of a person's life. The reasons behind the thoughts are important. The desire to act on the thoughts are important. The feelings that these thoughts produce are also important. If you are worries about someone talk to them or if it is you talk to someone who will listen.

No, it is not normal to think about suicide everyday. I would suggest that you seek out a professional regarding these thoughts. Also, if you haven't yet, then I urge you to call the National Suicide Hotline. They can be more help than you think.

Hun, the simple answer is no. You should never, EVER feel that suicide is the only answer. If you believe this, then please I beg of you, talk to me or someone else. IF there is no one in your life you can talk to face to face, then I will gladly step up. Don't go thinking that suicide is the answer. Find things you are looking forward to in the future. Hold these close to heart and think about them each time you get close to ending it all. If you commit suicide, you'll miss flying cars and the next Superbowl winner. You'll miss seeing the cutest dog ever. You'll miss so much. Don't commit suicide. I'm here for you.
