Actually in many times, its a really good idea not to think about anything and sit all blank in void.. By this you can control flow or you emotions and help build up your thought process. At times of turmoil, this could be helpful although if you are too stressed out, holding back your emotions and thinking is like trying to tame a wild mad horse.. Eventually it will break the bonds and at that time it will hit you all with a strong force...

So you don't want to think about anything? That's pretty normal to not want to think about the problems that might be occurring around you.

Yes it is normal. Sometimes people want to shut off their own mind and try to not think of anything at all. It is perfectly normal, try coloring a coloring book or scrolling through social media to shut off your mind for a while.

Yes. I feel like that all the time. With all these thoughts and emotions buzzing about in my head, I feel like I just want to wipe my mind clean of brainpower.

Yes, people seem to seek it through drugs, alcohol and other habits or addictions. Meditations or prayers are also ways of a person to try to silence the voice in your own head.

Yes, but it may also be impossible! Instead of going against your thinking, go with it! If you find yourself worrying too much, set aside some worry time for 30 min a day, after that commit yourself to positive and productive thinking. Be mindful of your thoughts, it won't be easy at first as it will be new, but with practice you'll become an expert and instead of your mind seemingly controlling you, you will be in control :)

It can be normal, but it depends on if there's a specific thought that you're trying to avoid thinking about.

Yes, it is absolutely normal to feel that way sometimes. There is so much happening around us, we need time to just sit with blank thoughts to avoid being burnt out. Take some time out and refresh the mind. Listen to calming music, go for a walk, do yoga.. Do whatever makes you feel happy. Pretty soon, you will be motivated to think of all the things that you need to do and be happy about it too..
