Tears cleanse the soul, my grandma used to tell me. I used to be the biggest crier. Still is a bit. Sometimes you need a good cry to purge out all the sadness and negative feelings. What you mustn't do is allow your crying to take over your life. If you are unable to function at all and all you're able to do is cry, it's time to seek help. But if you're going through a rough time, don't hold those emotions in, cry it out. Let it out. Scream your feelings. Get all those emotions out. Allow yourself a moment to do this, but tell yourself that afterwards, you're going to get up, dust off your shoulders and continue on living.

No, it isn't. Emotional dysregulation is a sign that something may be seriously wrong. Please consult with a doctor or a therapist to see why you may be crying so much, so you can begin to get your life back on track.

It's okay to let your feelings out, and it's perfectly okay to cry. It's as normal as feeling happy, as normal as feeling sad. There's nothing wrong with crying, or the amount you're crying, if it tires you out though as it does me, make sure to get plenty of rest!

Ofcourse not. Crying when a person is sad makes him feel better. But non-stoo crying for long periods certainly indicates u need real help.

I don't think it is. You need to find the trigger for your tears and try to heal as soon as you can.
