Absolutly not. That's not your fault at all. You don't have to think things like these, 'cause these things bring you down. That's not your fault at all.

No.:) Please DO NOT feel guilty for being depressed; you couldn't help it. But you can always start to seek help and help yourself as much as you can from now on. I know it's never easy to get out of depression. Have you checked out the 7cups depression online course? That might help. Maybe talk to a therapist?

Not at all! Depression is an illness, not a choice. It's a horrible illness that can affect anybody, no matter what their circumstances. You aren't alone and help,is out there to make you feel better. The first step is not to blame yourself.

I don't think blaming anyone or anything is right. I think understanding that an event happened that you perceive in a certain way is what is making you depressed. You should never blame yourself or anyone else. Just know that it's something you need to overcome because it is life draining! And talking about your depression to get rid of it is one of the best and recommended ways!

No. It will never ever be your fault for being depressed. Depression come from a chemical imbalance in our brains, and there is no way that you could be responsible for something like that. There is also no way to prevent or cure depression sadly, but with the right resources, and medicines, it can be managed.

It is not your fault, our feelings are something we can’t control, it is a totally natural feeling to be upset at times. It is in no way your fault

Absolutely not! There is no actual understanding of what causes depression but there are numerous theories; most of which have to do with either biological factors or outside events occurring in your life. It is never your fault for feeling depressed but it is your responsibility to try to figure out how to fight and overcome it whether through medication, therapy, diet, exercise, etc.

Being depressed isn't a choice or lifestyle. No one is ever at fault for it, it's a chemical imbalance and an illness. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Nobody chooses to be depressed: this disease can strike anyone for no apparent reason at any time.
