No, it isn't. No one would say it was your fault if you were diagnosed with any other disease, so why would it be your fault that you are depressed?

It may be chemistry in the brain or neurons or environmental causes & circumstances, in reality.. It's never the person's fault

No, it's a chemical problem in your brain, it's not your fault, you can't choose to become depressed.

Sometimes it could be the result of your accumulated actions and sometimes it could be because of genetic factors. However, in no way, is depression in any individual only the result of his sole action.

Blaming yourself for depressing makes you more depressed, you shouldnt blame yourself for your depression.

Absolutely not. Does someone choice to be born with only one arm? No. Sometimes you can't help what happens.

It is absolutely not your fault for being depressed. Depression can happen to anyone at any time. While some people experience depression triggered by a terrible life event, it can come upon others with no warning at all. It is an illness like any other that you are NOT responsible for.

Absolutely not. Depression is an illness. You can treat it but it's not that simple to get rid of. If you think that depression is your fault (or someone else's fault), be aware that blaming yourself or others for your depressed condition is extremely stressful, especially if you are always angry with yourself or others for being depressed.

Totally not! Do you blame yourself for cathing cold? Depression is an illness which effects not only on your mind, but on your body too. It can appear suddenly, even if you were perfectly happy. So there is no person fault.

No, it is almost never the depressed person's fault for their illness. A lot of people are depressed due to the environmental factors they grow up/live with.
