I have most of the symptoms of having depression, but I don't feel sad 24/7. I mainly feel the most sad when I think a lot. I don't always feel SAD, but I'm never happy. Is this depression?

Before I was diagnosed with depression, I felt empty almost all of the time. I wasn’t necessarily sad, but I was never happy. Depression can definitely range between feeling nothing or having a lot of intense emotions like anger and sadness. If you have most of the symptoms of depression, I would say that it’s best to treat it as if it is so that it doesn’t get pushed aside or anything. Your feelings are valid.
