Because your happiness is based on outside situations and circumstances, these things give temporary pleasure and comfort by not real happiness. True happiness comes from within you and is not based on outside situations, this happiness is like standing strong in the center of a hurricane.

It's healthy to acknwoledge your unhappiness, or any emotion, even if you don't currently understand it. Emotions are a way of our body telling us something isn't right. Your life may be "good" in some definition, but something is upsetting your day-to-day well-being; only you will know for sure what that thing is. With enough soul-searching, you may be able to figure it out and make a plan to recover your happiness.

Sometimes happiness can't be measured by things. You have to know yourself better to know what being happy means because everyone has different definitions.

How do you define good life ? Is it good according to other people's standards of what a good life "looks like" in terms of images/dreams/possessions and values ? Sometimes when we feel down/stuck, it's a sign to reevaluate what is important to us and what makes us happy. Hope this helped.

In my opinion there is not such thing as "good life", stereotyping and trying to feel the way society dictates by normalizing its individual components and blurring personality limits makes individuals feel unhappy. There is nothing wrong in wanting some different things, an unusual life, to have own goals... Variety is what makes life rich and fascinating

Hello. This is my first answer on this site.
We were born in such an imperfect world, with all these billions of small and little problems. It is only natural to have a hard time being wholly happy in a society with so many issues. Nevertheless, there are also good times. Times that make us smile. You might have little happy moments now, but you can use them as reminders that happiness does exist. And it is reachable, with a little effort every day.
I hope I've helped a bit.
