Well if you are over 18+, your parents dont really have to know. Just talk to your doctor and see if your insurance covers therapy. And even if it doesnt, there are plenty of support groups and volunteer centers that are for free

A therapist / counsellor will be able to advise you on this within your first session regarding this. Often unless you share something that is concerning regarding yourself or another or regarding a criminal act all information shared will be private or confidential. Most therapists would discuss with you prior to being shared so you will always know whats happening.

There may be pro-bono therapists in your area; look at college websites that offer classes in mental health and see if they have student therapists that work for cheap or free. Some areas offer free group support meeting for various causes, and some of those groups meet regularly at public places like the YMCA or community buildings that would be completely justifiable to visit for any reason. Similarly, you may want to ask your school counselor or school principal what the school's policy is on confidentality in school counseling. In most cases, school counselors will abide by confidentality unless the topic involves immediate danger to either yourself or someone you know.
