I think in most cases depression can't really be gotten rid of completely. However, I do think that over time one can develop a strategy for coping with depression which makes it more bearable and less consuming over time

Some people can easily get rid of depression, some have to learn to live with it. Sometimes medications and therapy can help an individual to over come their depression which may take weeks, months, and sometimes years. Those who have learned to live with their depression had found a way to cope with their everyday lives.

Of course! Depression is a part of us as sensitive human beings, but it is something you get over! Some things you may carry with you forever, but not in a bad way. Depression teaches you a lot about yourself and about how you react to certain situations, and what things you need to inprove about yourself!

depression is a condition that can be managed but sometimes does go away. Many people have a very productive and full life while managing their depression, so depression doesn't have to determine your quality of life its just an illness like any other that requires tending too.
