Know that you're not alone, and don't feel guilty or afraid to put yourself first -- self-care is a real thing! Break ups are never easy, but that doesn't mean they have to make you feel like the world is coming down on you. Know that your feelings are valid, and that even though things are difficult now, it doesn't mean that they will be difficult forever. Breaking up with a partner can seem like all is lost, but remember that you are worth it even without your partner, and that life has so much to look forward to, even if it doesn't feel like it at the moment.

Know your worth. Find your confidence and learn to be happy with your self. If you cannot be happy single then you will never be happy in a relationship. Pamper yourself, spend time on YOU. At the end of the day, you have to live with yourself. Everyone else is optional in your life with the exception of you... so YOU come first. Make your goals, ambitions, dreams, and happiness a priority above everything else. Shift your mindset to focus on the positive rather than the negative. What you speak into the world comes back on you. Put out positive words and you will reap the positive that you sew.

I find that you just need to focus on self-care first. If the person you just left is taking a toll on you, try to remove yourself from any situation that might trigger flashbacks to times with them, or any memories with them. If you have broken up, there has to be a reason why. It is for the good of you and was not meant to be. You WILL find your person one day. Focus on yourself and get that break-up glow! You will find yourself happier than ever because you have overcome an extremely difficult situation. You got this!
