how do you make the pain go away?

Making the pain go away is a process, but it'd be much better if you turned to music, like I did. Whenever I was in a bad mood during my depressive states listening to music always made me feel better and I like to think it's a much more healthier way of coping. Lots of other people will turn to self harm or drugs but those don't last, they only hide the pain, where music can make you feel all sorts of emotions You can't have happiness without sadness, you can't have anger without joy, it's just how it is and self harm and drugs focus more on getting rid of the negative emotions but that's impossible so I would suggest listening to music because you get to feel both.
(Hope this makes sense)

You can't make the pain go away for stop... It will always be there. What you can do is learn how to cope with it. Maybe that includes taking medication or seeing a therapist (neither of which make you weak), but the pain will always be there, just we can learn how to cope with it better.

Look for something that makes you happy, something worth staying around for. Know that you mean something to somebody, and that there are different definitions of perfection. Also smile

Music. My passion. Guitar. Let the emotion flow out of my body and into the beautiful music. Every note steps another foot into a calm state of mind.

Don't make it go away. Instead, acknowledge it. Accept it. And then do something based on your situation or try to move on. You just have to accept that there is pain and that that is okay.

By understanding that pain is merely a result of events and not a characteristic. It is temporary and a learning experience.

You don't. The pain doesn't just "go away", you just have to learn how to cope with it. Coping can look different for everyone, for some it might help to talk to others about it, or trying to turn you negative emotions into something positive. Find something you love to do and do it. You can't make the pain go away but you can find something to give you happiness to take away from the pain.

For me it was reaching out to others, going to self-help group and journaling my thoughts. Going to group gives you support and fellowship and also shows you that you are not alone, you are never alone.,

It's not easy, and it'll be hard. The best you can do is bring the things that give you happiness into your life. If your trying to mend yourself, relationships won't be good unless it's already long term. There is no way you can suddenly make the pain dissapear, but you can work it off and open up about it to the people closest to you. Write your feelings down, and reflect on it when your a little more stable. Little things can gradually pull you out of depression, even though it's always going to be there

The best way of making the pain go away is by being there for a person and listening to them and letting them know they're not alone in this and motivate them that they can overcome it with some efforts. Being patient and helpful in every way that you can is all you can do. Empathy and patience is important and helps the person calm down and make them feel happier and better. So just be there for them and help them feel less lonely and calm their nerves by listening to what they have to say and agreeing with them.
