The first step is becoming aware of your negative thoughts. Whenever you realize that you're thinking something negative, stop yourself and ask 'why?'. Try to determine whether that negative thought is rational or not, and replace it was a more positive, rational one. For instance, if I think "Everyone hates me" I might stop myself and think, "is that true? It is even possible for everyone to hate me? Maybe some people in this world dislike me but certainly not everyone, and there are people who like me too."

I listen to my favorite songs and take a walk :) Sometimes it's hard for me to get up so I make a cup of tea and sit outside and watch the sky that always helps me get out of a funk!

Try to recall happy memories. Then try to ask yourself what makes you truly happy. When ever you are in a bad situation always try to remember that things can be worse. Write 3 things you are thankful for every day in your personal 7 cups journal.

Its very simple, first calm down if you are stressed. Then close your eyes and think of the one person you love/respect the most. And imagine that person is with you right now, and is walking with you in the situation you are right now. You will feel the power to overcome anything because that person is with you. And if you do not have such person in your life. Then imagine that person is your future self, watching you through memories. You will get charged and motivated instantly.
