How do I keep my motivation up if I can't even get out of bed in the morning?

Creating a conducive environment to wake up to can be helpful. It may sound strange, but how messy my room is greatly affects how easy it is to wake up in the morning. I've found that if I have an orderly room to wake up in, I'm more inclined to bypass the snooze and start my day. Also, try planning your day the night before. Writing down all the big, important things you'll be doing the next day give you the extra spring in your step to wake up early and quickly. If you've got a purpose, you've got a big reason to wake up.

Stop trying in a sense. Consider motivation a byproduct of activity not a precursor. Motivation will follow action.

This one really hits home for me. Sometimes I know I have class in ten minutes and yet I decide to stay in bed rather than get up and start my dad. What I find helpful is having friends give me a hand. I ask them to call me or even come get me up. I understand that the second can be difficult if you don't live with or near them, but having a support channel in general can be helpful. Also, planning things to do that you would enjoy might help. Plan to read a good book or watch a movie you were dying to see. Small things can make getting out of bed all the more easier. And if that doesn't work, drink a lot of water and wait until you have to get up to pee.

Small steps. What can you do? Make a list of your accomplishments, and don't ask yourself for more than you are ready for any given day. Did you get out of bed? Great! Did you brush your hair, put on your clothes, eat a sandwich? Everything, no matter how small, counts. I'm sure you'll be surprised by how you do more than it felt like at first.

Find something to look forward for the day! I understand school can be tiring, but it shouldn't be 14 hours of the day. Try and find something to do outside school!

Make small goals. A first goal could be, get out of bed. Once you do that, make the bed, or clean around the bed. Make very small baby steps. If you feel like you can't do anything productive try and clean or straighten up. After you do something small, make sure to reward yourself meaningfully, like praising yourself. "You really did a good job motivating yourself to do this little thing."

First step is always the hardest, getting out of bed to possibly face bad things may seem scary, but sometimes when we do it, the day can go better than we expected and things can go better, don't give up hope =)
